Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, flying the American Flag Protocol - American Flags are flown at half-staff from dawn 'til noon. At noon, the flag is raised to full-staff until sunset, then lowered completely. If your personal flag cannot be raised and lowered, protocol dictates that a black ribbon be tied on top of the flagpole, just under the top ornament.
